Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan
Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan was chartered on May 26, 2003. and has been working diligently for more than fifteen years to promote Rotary values in society. Driven by the motivation to make the world a better place to live, the members of the club annually set many goals and objectives in this direction.
At present, the Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan is among the leaders in the capital, with established traditions and active participation in local public life in addition to the responsible attitude of its members to all planned activities.
In addition to charitable initiatives for the benefit of society, educational and sports projects, seminars and trainings, visits to clubs from the country and abroad, Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan focuses on working with the Rotary Foundation, working with youth Interact and Rotaract clubs sponsored .
An important priority of the club is to improve its public image and support mutual assistance activities between members. For the development of the club, members seek to endorse the club’s culture and financial discipline with one main goal in mind: expanding friendships with other clubs at home and abroad, selfless service to society, and loyalty to Rotary’s humanitarian ideas.
The vision of the official flag was adopted by the Board of the Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan at the first official meeting in 2003. It includes the stylized logos of Rotary International, as well as that of the club, located on a white background with a royal blue outline at the edges and fringe sides. The words “ROTARY CLUB SOFIA BALKAN” are printed at the bottom of the flag. At the top is written “ROTARY” and next to it is the symbol – the Rotary wheel in gold. In the middle of the flag is the logo of the Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan in blue.
Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan is one of the leading and leading Rotary clubs in Sofia. Founded in 2003, Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan has proved to be one of the most serious and stable in Bulgaria. The projects on which the club operates are directly related to society; social and economic support to social groups and their social integration.
