The President of the Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan Assoc. Prof. Evgeni Grigorov presented a special plaque to Prof. Krastyu Tsarov for his contribution to the founding and development of wheelchair basketball in Bulgaria.
“We all know what he has done for this sport, we know about his selfless work for the benefit of society. At the end of his academic career as a teacher at the NSA, he devoted himself entirely to the cause of wheelchair basketball in Bulgaria,” said the president.
For his part, Prof. Tsarov pointed out that it is a great honor for him to accept this plaque, that for him the realization of this project was a long-standing dream and ended with the words of Michael Jordan: “I can accept failure. Everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying! ”
