This year, Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan takes part in the German Christmas Center Sofia – Deutscher Weihnachtsmarkt Sofia.
From 28 November to 1 December 2017, at the charity house of Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan, visitors to the bazaar could learn more about the club’s long-standing project – basketball team for people in wheelchairs Sofia-Balkan .
Students from different schools from Bulgaria such as 22 Georgi Rakovski Sofia University, 73 Vladislav Gramaik University, private primary school Bankerche in Sofia and “Nedka Ivan Lazarova” Vocational High School in Rousse made different author’s works (Christmas cards , toys, glasses, etc.). Visitors had the opportunity to buy the works to support the basketball team.
The collected funds amounting to 3000 leva. were included in the annual maintenance of the basketball team.
